Calidus is a hot-chain vending machine service that utilizes hot-chain food technology to provide freshly cooked warm bento meals within 20 seconds. Foodservice operators can expand their sales channels by installing Calidus in various locations such as office buildings, hospital lobbies, and construction sites. It also enables labor reduction and unmanned operations through installation in existing stores.
The Calidus hot-chain vending machine ensures the warmth of freshly cooked bento meals, enabling them to be ready-to-eat, and facilitates delivery within 20 seconds. Customers can select their desired items on the vending machine’s touchscreen, complete the cashless payment* process, and receive a warm meal.
The first Calidus vending machine in Japan is located in Kitahama, the heart of Osaka’s business district, just a 3-minute walk from the Osaka Securities Exchange Building. It has been well received by busy office workers and travelers in the area, and operates with two refills during the day and evening.
