Mr. Jason Chen
Chief Executive Officer
Jason Chen is the Chief Executive Officer of Wada FoodTech. With a career rooted in project management and advanced electronics engineering, Jason co-founded Wada FoodTech to solve a practical problem experienced by many Hong Kong office workers — the daily lunch challenge.
Before founding Wada FoodTech, Jason led semiconductor and consumer electronics projects at international technology companies. He is an inventor with over 20 patents granted across the United States, Japan, and China.
Jason is a lifetime member of Beta Gamma Sigma, a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and a Six Sigma Lean Black Belt. He holds a Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Tokyo and an MBA from City University of Hong Kong. He also completed the Entrepreneurship & Venture Plan Development Program at the University of California, Berkeley. Jason is a resident of Japan.
Mr. Manabu Oikawa
Food Scientist
Manabu Oikawa is a Japanese chef and food scientist with over 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry. He specializes in hot-chain food technology and leads food research and development, quality control, and central kitchen operations at Wada FoodTech.
Prior to joining the company, Manabu served as Head Chef overseeing Japanese cuisine R&D at city’super. He has also held senior culinary leadership roles, including Head Chef and Executive Chef, at renowned Japanese restaurants in Hong Kong.
Manabu’s international experience includes work in Tokyo, New York, and on international cruise ships. He has lived in Hong Kong for more than 18 years and is a Japanese citizen.
Mr. Seishiro Tsukuda
General Manager, Japan
Seishiro Tsukuda was born in Kobe, Japan, and studied Industrial Design in San Francisco during his university years.
He joined Harada Corporation, an Osaka-based trading company, in 2009 and was seconded to a joint venture with a Dutch firm specializing in food processing equipment. He played key roles in supplier development, sales strategy, and equipment commissioning across Japan and international markets.
Seishiro played a key role in establishing our Japan business and later joined the leadership team. He is deeply passionate about Hot Chain technology and is committed to leveraging it to transform traditional foodservice models, improve operational efficiency, and address the growing labor shortage in the industry. Seishiro is a Japanese citizen.
Dr. Stephen Chan
Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Stephen Chan brings over 25 years of experience in semiconductor and consumer electronics design. He has filed more than 60 patents, with over 50 granted, reflecting his strong track record in technological innovation.
With more than 15 years of comprehensive project management experience, Stephen has successfully led cross-functional teams through complex technical challenges. He has also served as a member of the VTC Electronic and Telecommunication Training Board and actively mentors young engineers.
Stephen earned his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Lancaster (U.K.) and his Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering from the University of Manchester (U.K.).
Mr. Kenny Yau
Chief Product Officer
Kenny Yau has over 10 years of leadership experience in multinational corporations, specializing in organizational transformation, stakeholder engagement, and strategic product development.
He is passionate about talent development and organizational change, actively coaching team members to grow alongside the company’s evolution. Kenny excels in identifying stakeholder needs, diagnosing operational pain points, formulating solution strategies, and building long-term strategic partnerships.
He holds an MBA from City University of Hong Kong and completed the Global Branding Program for Bentley at Imperial College London.
Mr. Eric Ng
Principal Engineer
Eric Ng has more than 20 years of experience in electronics and semiconductor engineering, including professional experience in Japan.
At Wada FoodTech, Eric leads the development of the company’s hot-chain vending machine systems, translating innovative concepts into scalable, commercially viable electronic products. He is deeply committed to engineering excellence and product reliability.
Eric holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electronic and Information Engineering from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Mr. Chris Pang, FCPA (Aust.)
Chief Financial Officer
Chris Pang brings over 20 years of experience in finance, advisory, and entrepreneurship. He previously served as Director at PwC Hong Kong in Tax & Business Advisory Services, focusing on entrepreneurial and private businesses across diverse industries.
During his tenure at PwC, Chris was seconded to the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), gaining valuable regulatory and financial sector insights. He also founded and led PwC’s NextGen Club, supporting young entrepreneurs and connecting startups with investors.
Chris is a Fellow Member of CPA Australia (FCPA Aust.) and actively mentors founders and early-stage companies. He specializes in building strong financial foundations that support sustainable, long-term growth.
Mr. Goris Chan
Head of Growth
Goris Chan is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of leadership experience across Asia. His expertise spans brand management, operational excellence, and market expansion.
He has held senior leadership positions at global companies, including Vice President of Marketing at Sony Ericsson Hong Kong and Director of Global Marketing at Motorola Hong Kong, where he led major product launches and brand transformations. He has also served as Chief Operating Officer for two Hong Kong-listed companies.
At Wada FoodTech, Goris leads growth strategy, marketing, and strategic partnerships. He focuses on expanding market presence, strengthening brand positioning, and driving measurable business growth across Asia and international markets.
Mr. WM Lo (Ir Wai Ming Lo)
Advisor
WM Lo brings over 35 years of experience in the microelectronic and semiconductor industry, with a distinguished track record in global business operations, product engineering, and business development.
Early in his career, WM spent 12 years at Motorola Semiconductor Hong Kong, where he built a strong foundation in engineering and operations. In 1999, he became a co-founder of Solomon Systech Limited (晶門科技有限公司, HKEX:2878), guiding the company through its startup phase, initial public offering (IPO), and subsequent growth cycle. During his tenure, he served as Vice President of Operations, Head of the Nanjing Technology Center, and was appointed as an Executive Director of the Group.
WM holds a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and a Master of Science in Energy and Environmental Sustainability from Hong Kong Metropolitan University. He is a member of The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) and Registered Professional Engineer (RPE).
Currently, WM serves as an Advisor to Wada FoodTech International Limited, where he provides strategic guidance drawn from his decades of leadership in technology-driven enterprises.
